ZX Spectrum Next Gets a Powerful Upgrade! 🚀
The team behind the awesome FPGA-based ZX Spectrum Next just crushed their latest Kickstarter! Here’s what’s new:
- More Power! This version (Issue 3.0) features a beefier FPGA for even better performance.
Retro Expansion! It now supports cores for the Sinclair QL and* Commodore 64, letting you emulate multiple classic computers on one machine.
- Options Galore: You can buy a complete unit (~$400), upgrade your existing ZX Spectrum Next, or just get the board itself. There’s even an accelerator board option!
- Shipping Soon! They’re aiming to ship everything out by the end of the year – and the author thinks they’re more likely to hit that deadline this time due to fewer supply chain issues.
