Here’s what you need to know:
What’s Morrowind? A classic RPG considered by many to be the best in The Elder Scrolls* series. Prepare for a huge map and deep immersion.
- You’re Gonna Need:
A copy of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition* (Steam or GOG)
- PortMaster installed on your device.
- An internet connection
- Installation is Easy! Two methods:
- GOG: Copy the .exe and .bin installer files to `ports/openmw/data/`
Steam: Copy the entire* contents of your Steam “Data Files” folder to `ports/openmw/data/`
- Controls & Performance: Requires (ideally) dual analog sticks. Performance is generally good even on less powerful devices — adjust resolution scaling in `settings.cfg` if needed!
- Mod Support! PortMaster makes installing compatible mods a breeze – just drop zipped mod files into `ports/openmw/mods/`.
