๐ฎ GameSir Nova Lite 2: A Solid Budget Controller ๐ฎ
The GameSir Nova Lite 2 is a new iteration of a popular budget controller, priced at $30. Here’s what you need to know:
- Key Specs: Hall Effect sticks, membrane face buttons, mechanical D-pad, back buttons, trigger stops, 600mAh battery, and connects via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz dongle, or USB-C. Compatible with Switch, PC, Android & iOS.
- The Good:
- Ergonomics: Feels sturdier and more premium than the original Nova Lite.
Controls: Smooth Hall Effect sticks, responsive buttons, and a solid D-pad (though the D-pad is clicky*!).
No Software Needed: All customization is done on the controller itself* โ a huge plus for simplicity.
- The Not-So-Good:
- Shoulder Buttons: A bit narrow for larger hands.
- Trigger Stops: Concern about long-term durability despite having a good stopping point.
- Pricing: $30 is good, but adding the charging dock ($15) brings the total to $45 โ close to the price of the more premium GameSir Super Nova.
- The Verdict: A great controller for the price, especially if you donโt need all the bells and whistles. Consider the Super Nova if you’re willing to spend a little more. A great option to save $5 over the Supernova, and still get a great controller.
