✨ gSerial Enabler v2 is HERE! ✨
Want effortless auto-switching on your RetroTINK 4K with your gscart/gcomp switches? donutswdad just dropped a new version of the gSerial Enabler! Here’s what you need to know:
External Connection: This version plugs outside* your switch, simplifying installation and avoiding repeated disassembly. Perfect if you’re adding the EXT header yourself!
Compatibility: Works with gswitches that already have or you add* the EXT port. (Check the links below to see if yours is compatible!)
- Easy Setup: Software install is the same as other RetroTINK auto-switching – update firmware, create the `/profile/SVS/` directory, and rename your profiles (“S201_<user defined>.rt4” etc.).
Multi-Switch Support: You can connect up to five* gswitches with a headphone jack splitter, but it requires flashing the gSE firmware with custom offsets (check the GitHub manual!)
Price & Availability: Around $40 + shipping. Available now*!
